Working with PilotWare, pirocmedia just completed a PHP web application that connects to a FileMaker database, using the FileMaker PHP API.  Potential contestants for a reality TV show can pre-register on the show’s public web site (americasnextgreatrestaurant.com) and later, on location at casting calls, find their pre-registration to edit and complete the sign-up process. The system includes a flash video capture app (jpegcam) that allows the potential contestants to take a picture of themselves. The production company can also add and manage all contestants via password-protected admin panel.

Developed in just a few weeks, the system now manages thousands of contestants registration in a secure manner.
